He was able to talk to the neighbour and get permission to trim it down to a satisfactory height that would not impact my solar panels. His men were punctual, efficient and cleaned up the area. The boys (who were all awesome!) did an incredible job with some very large trees in VERY tight spots! Nigel Cowie22 days agoChris and his team did a really good job removing old palm trees, overgrown Bird of Paradise and Yukka plants around our pool area. They also pruned and trimmed hedges and trees around the house. When I asked if the stump remover could come back and have a second go at the massive bird of paradise roots, Chris promptly agreed and organised with no fuss. The site was left clean and tidy. His team of Blake, Max and Nick worked hard, carefully, taking note of my requests and instructions, and did a super job of cleaning up afterwards. And they are really nice blokes to have around! Of particular note is Max’s work on my very difficult Chinese elm, which has left looking just wonderful. They were able to fit us in fairly soon after contacting them, were dot on time and respectful of our garden. They tidied up really well (except an inconspicuous item - but can't give 4.9 lol) and took care of the foliage that was in need of attention. They came with excellent equipment and clearly had the experience and skills to handle a very challenging job safely and efficiently. Watching them work, it was obvious they knew exactly what they were doing. The team worked incredibly hard all day. They were careful, respectful of our property, and never stopped putting in their best effort. You could really appreciate how physically demanding the work was, and they handled it with a great attitude from start to finish. Their pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering the amount of work involved and the high standard of service they provided. What impressed me the most was the cleanup. amelia king96 days agoI spoke with Chris at Bayside Trees about three weeks ago. He visited the site within half an hour of our conversation and put a quote in. It was very reasonable, but he discounted his price noting that some of our body corporate members were elderly. His team kept me abreast of their arrival and went over and beyond mulching other garden refuse and providing firewood. They left the site very clean. A very professional service. Michael Luna113 days agoChris is professional, fairly priced, and genuinely honest. He’s very straightforward to deal with and provided fast, efficient service from start to finish. He came highly recommended by my brother, and I’m extremely happy with the outcome. I highly recommend Bayside Trees, especially for anyone in the Bayside area where tree regulations are stricter and tree-related issues are common. You really need a local specialist who understands the council requirements and processes. I had a very tall tree in my backyard with branches extending over the roof. Fortunately, it met the council requirements for removal without a permit. Chris and the team handled the job carefully and seamlessly. They removed the tree safely, cut the stump as low as possible, poisoned it properly, and cleaned everything up so thoroughly it looked like there had never been a tree there. They also provided a compliance certificate for peace of mind. As a nice extra touch, they chopped up the leftover wood and left it on the nature strip for people to take, which turned out to be very popular with the neighbours.Posted on Google

Dave McCaffrey129 days agoWe'd been looking at these trees in our garden getting taller and taller and realised the job had gotten beyond our Bunnings - Ozito best...we needed help. So after contacting the usual suspects, we were left with an enormous quote, a long lead time and not much confidence that they actually wanted the work. We gave up for a while before we stumbled upon Chris and the crew at Bayside Trees. Kicked off with a couple of photos and messages by SMS, a day later Chris came over for a look, next day we had a quote that made the others look like crooks and a week later the trees were sorted. Tim McDougall168 days agoI honestly couldn’t recommend Bayside Tree Removal and Pruning more highly. From the very first point of contact, the whole experience was seamless. They were prompt in responding, incredibly professional, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. It’s rare to come across trades that are not only skilled, but also genuinely easy to deal with, and these guys absolutely delivered on both. They showed up exactly when they said they would, which in itself is a breath of fresh air. No delays, no chasing, no stress. Everything was handled efficiently and without any fuss. Nothing felt like a hassle to them, and you could tell they take real pride in their work. On top of that, the team had such personable, friendly personalities, which honestly made the whole experience enjoyable. It didn’t feel like dealing with trades at all, just good people who care about what they do. The job itself was done perfectly, and they left the site so clean you wouldn’t even know they had been there. It’s such a relief finding a team like this. We needed to remove two old Mt Morgan wattle trees growing close to the fence line where our neighbours are extending their house, and also to trim back a beautiful Golden Elm from above our car port and away from the from the solar panels on the roof. We also had them remove some dead branches from the very tall gum trees. The team arrived right on the agreed time, did what was needed and then cleaned up the area and left it in a tidy state. They needed to be cut back to single-storey roof height, along with a few overhanging branches removed from the garden. Absolutely no collateral damage to buildings or other plants. The garden was left exceptionally tidy with all debris cleared from the site. For the amount and type of trees I asked to be removed, his price was extremely reasonable. Him and his team are professional, efficient and cleaned up the site once they were done. Posted for recommendations and Bayside Trees were mentioned. Chris and Brendan came out and gave the tree a much needed haircut! Great communication, well priced, friendly, very tidy, and were so accommodating of a last minute request. As promised, Chris turned up the next morning with his 2 apprentices, cleared the branches, swept the yard and entertained my dog. The whole team worked hard and were lovely to deal with. In addition to removing the tree itself, they ground the stump down, disposed of it all and cleaned up afterwards, and all for a reasonable price. Our yard has been completely transformed after the removal of a big tree and several Yaccas. He also left our yard looking cleaner than we’ve seen in since moving into the property, and was happy to leave out fire wood for neighbours to pick up from our nature strip. Richard Wilkinson347 days agoHad Chris come over to remove 10 trees each about 8ft tall and a whole bunch of other smaller trees and shrubs etc. He was great with communication leading into the job, arrived on time and was courteous and respectful. Price was fair and reasonable. Very happy with the job amd he has promised if anything starts to grow back, he will return to fix it. Cant ask more than that.
